What game are you people fucking watching?

I'm at wit's end. I really fucking am. Here's the sitch:

A great majority of people, judging from sports talk radio here in Houston and the media, believe that David Carr is just not a good NFL quarterback. These people are 100% correct.

Then you have the myopic folks that make statements such as "David Carr is a good QB, he can be a winner on the Texans."

Excuse me? What fucking game are you watching? And what, exactly, are you smoking, shooting up, or swallowing while watching the game?

David Carr, IMHO, is HORRIBLE. Unless you are a huge fan of 3-yard dump off passes, then I guess he's faaaaaaaantastic. Uh. No.

Last week DCarr had NEGATIVE 5 passing yards versus the 2-11 Oakland Raiders. They are a miserable team, and DCarr had -5 passing yards. Did the myopic Carr fans see that game? Or did they only look at the final score (the Texans actually won on defense and special team play)?

And today, oh man. Did we ever get to see what we missed out on. I don't know if Charley Casserly pulled the wool over Coach Kubiak's eyes or if Kubes actually thinks he can make something out of Carr, but we passed on Vince Young in the last draft. And all VY does to us today, at our home field (in his home town) is run for a 39-yard third down touchdown in overtime to seal the win for the Titans.

One need only compare DCarr and Vince Young on these points:

1. In your gut, who did you think was going to march down the field and make the plays in order to win the game? Carr or Young? If you answer Carr, then you must not be familiar with Vince Young's resume. You need to return to whatever cave you're living in and never come out again.

2. Who commands the respect and love of his teammates in an almost effortless manner, Carr or Young? If you answer Carr, run headlong into a wall. Until you pass out. Please. Young has the "it" factor, no fucking doubt. It's obvious to everyone and their mother. Young is a special player.
3. In your gut, if you consider Carr to be a "good" QB, could you, in all honestly, build a team around him instead of players like Young or Carson Palmer or Tony Romo or Philip Rivers? If you answer yes, you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Football is not the sport for you, as the obviousness of Carr's massive aura of SUCK completely escapes you.

Myopic Carr fans: stop taking bribes from Casserly to be Carr jock-sniffers. And stop blaming his suck performance on a bad O-line. He's had five years, FIVE YEARS, to show us SOMETHING. He's not a playmaker. He's not a leader that the team rallies behind. He's not a good decision-maker. This is OBVIOUS to the majority of Texans fans, and no amount of spin doctoring or blaming external factors is going to make Carr a good QB. He's not even a .500 QB.

He needs to go. I'm done watching the great David Carr Experiment. I'm ready for a change. I want a new QB and I want the owner, GM and coaching staff to show us fans that they realize we need to go in a new direction in order to regain some respect and a hope of winning.

Note to Coach Kubes: Jake Plummer does NOT constitute a "new direction." No more failed Denver reclaimation projects, please.

Any NFL GM who passed up on Vince Young deserves to be out of a job.
